Marijuana is officially legal in Colorado, says Amendment 64, signed by Gov. John Hickenlooper on December 10, 2012.
The new law states people 21+ years old can:
Possess an ounce of marijuana
Grow up to six plants privately
Medical marijuana patients can have two ounces
Only medical patients can buy from a dispensary
Either grow your own, or someone can gift you an ounce
Tourists are welcome to this gift
You can’t be penalized or arrested for marijuana
Don’t smoke in public
